Description

Alexa, Am I Breaking the Law? Legal Boundaries for AI in Real Estate

with Trista Curzydlo, Attorney at Law

Can I do this? Is there a law that regulates this? Why would I want a robot to talk to my client? Over the last several years, there have been a lot of legal questions about the use of artificial intelligence in the practice of real estate. This session focuses on the implications of state and federal law and provides clarity on scenarios in which the improper use of AI can harm real estate professionals and their clients. Through analysis of case studies and ongoing litigation, we examine the potential unintended consequences of AI use, including the disclosure of confidential information, copyright infringement, false and misleading advertising, and libel.
